I know this song but I don't know the exact title. We used to sing it around 1987 in our choir. I looked on the net under "Peace be still" but didn't find it. I do have it on tape somewhere.

I know part of it is..

The clouds began to gather, the winds began to blow. Darkness over took the day and fears began to grow. the men in that tiny ship didn't know just what to do. So they went to wake the master, for (can't remember)..they knew.

And He said, Peace, be still. He said, Peace, be still. ...(can't remember, I think it's something about the wind having to obey) and He said, Peace, be still, He said, Peace, be still. and the dark clouds had to go away.

If I find the tape I'll try to post more. Hope this helps some. It's a really good song

Thanks for this forum. I've been wanting to know who sang this song! I heard it on a friend's tape many years ago. It remained imprinted on my mind ever since but was hard to find. Now I'm one mighty step closer to getting hold of it again. There are some stores that specialize in out of print Christian music. Thank you!

I contacted the BTC. That album has been out of print for a while and they don't have copies. My father had this album growing up and I loved the whole album.
