He Said He'd Save Me
1. Once I lived a life of sin that wasn't hid,
To please my self I did those things that God forbid.
Then I heard the Saviour say, If you'll only kneel and pray,
I'll wash all your sins away and He did.

He said he'd save me, and he did.
Free what enslaved me, and he did.
He said he'd give me peace of mind
Fill my heart with joy devine
Leave my broken past behind and he did.
2. You'll never know the empty life in sin I had.
The things I thought would bring me joy just made me sad.
