Did either of you ever find the song? Im remembering lyrics but im cobininf different verses. I dont remember who wrote/sang it. I learned it in 2nd grade but id like to teach my students. Any info is appreciated

It's a negro spiritual. I have a hymnal with an arrangement to it though if you're interested.
