old song - From Jerusalem to Jericho

Thank you for your response.

My uncle sang this song most of my life and this is all he knew of it:

1.
From Jerusalem to Jericho along that lonely road
A certain man was set upon and robbed of all his gold.
They stripped him and they beat him and they left him there for dead
Who was it then who came along and bathed his aching head?

cho:
Tell me who ...... (Tell me who)
Tell me who .......(Tell me who)
Was a neighbor kind and true.
Tell me who ......(Tell me who)
Tell me who ......(Tell me who)
A neighborly deed did do.
From Jerusalem to Jericho we travel day by day
And many are the dying ones who lie along the way.

Thanks again,
Mercedes

In my booklet :Albert E. Brumnley's "All Day Singing and Dinner on the Grounds" it says the lyrics are anonymous and the arrangement was by R.E.Winsett. Copyrighted in 1944 in Radiant Joy. A songbook? A web search for Jeruslame to Jericho lyrics brings up references to Hank Williams but I could not find his lyrics or the song to hear them to know it is the one. I remember my paents singing this song, it brings back a lot of memories.

Would anyone by chance know a song titled either "Tell Me Who" or you could know it as "From Jerusalem to Jericho"?

The first verse begins:

From Jerusalem to Jericho
Along that lonely road
A certain man was set upon
And robbed of all his gold .........
