Keep Me Sanctified
1.
Here sometimes my load is so hard to carry,
And it seems my cross I cannot bear
When I've tried so hard, and I've been such a failure
Whatever I do, whatever I say
Keep me sanctified.
cho.
Keep me sanctified when the storm clouds gather
When the battle gets rough and the way seems hard
When I've tried so hard and I've been such a failure
Whatever I do, whatever I say, keep me sanctified.
2.
When the messenger came to old Job one evening
He said to him, "Job, all your children have died."
Then we hear Job say, "Though God slay me, I'll trust Him."
He lost everything that he ever had gained, but stayed sanctified.
