Last night I dreamed of Heaven
I wanted so to enter in
But when the book of life was open
There was my life of sin
CHORUS
I was looking thru the windows of Heaven
I saw the kingdom of God
And there was the foot prints of Jesus
On the path that my Savior had trod.
It seems that I could see my mother
There with Heaven's happy band
With out stretched arms she ran to meet me
But I had waited to late
