Based on what the original poster wrote, I believe he was referring to this book, produced by the BBC in the UK:

If you scroll down, you can see your dad's song listed as "It's the Springs". It looks like the album is here:

Both of these sites are in the UK. Over here in the states, you can find these books from resellers on Amazon.
