I have an album I got from my grandmother that I believe has that song. It was on an album by the Brotherhood Quartet. Not sure what the name of the song is other than to say it could be "Looking For You". The lyrics on that album are as follows...
Verse 1: Alone on the Judean mountains,
while shepherds were watching their sheep.
While solely disturbed by the angels,
all singing so lovely and sweet.
They said that a shepherd from glory,
arrived in a manger that day.
Looking for pilgrims of sorrow,
the sheep that have wandered astray.
Chorus: Looking for you in the sunshine,
waiting for you in the rain.
Caring for you while in trouble,
burdened with sorrow or pain.
He traveled this pathway before you,
often he walked it alone.
Then He ascended to heaven,
now waiting to welcome you home.
Verse 2: One morning while people were sleeping,
some mother so troubled and sore.
Went up to the Calvary graveyard,
once more a dear Lord to behold.
An angel so gently informed them,
that Jesus was up early too.
Proving the grave could not hold Him,
and soon he'll be looking for you.
One or two of the words may be incorrect as I wrote the lyrics as I listen to it. I hope this helps.
