These are the words from my mother's handwritten song book. I have a 3rd verse, but was one that my mother wrote and added to it. Basically, all the words are nearly the same as above. My mother's name was Rev. Opal Dyal Smith from Demorest, Georgia.

The Stone Was Rolled Away
Dawn had come and it was Sunday
All the world was still in mourning;
For the Savior had been crucified alone.
Faithful friends had come to see Him,
Found the stone that could not keep him;
The stone was rolled away, the Lord was gone!
Chorus:
Oh! The stone was rolled away,
He's no longer where He lay,
He has risen, for I feel Him in my soul!
Long ago, His work here ended,
Unto Heaven, He ascended;
The stone was rolled away, the Lord was gone!
On a lonely road a walking; two disciples stood there talking
When a stranger overtook them by the way;
It was Jesus, who had risen
That our sins may be forgiven,
The stone was rolled away, the Lord was gone!
(my mother's verse)
Mary found two angles standing,
One at the head and the other at the foot,
Where the body of Jesus Christ had lain.
They said, "Fear not, He has risen"
In glory arose to Heaven,
The stone was rolled away, The Lord was gone!
