So, I'm somewhere between 1-2 years behind the search for the Silent Night Descant people have been searching for. I learned this song at Columbus School in Cicero, IL in 1957. I sang soprano at the time, so I got to sing the beautiful words she wrote. As years went by, I taught them to my children and most of the girls in my various scout troops. Now, I'm older and the song keeps running through my head (even when it's not the Christmas Season) but, unfortunately, I couldn't remember all the words I learned. I see several versions posted but there is only 1 verse that I knew. I tried reaching Anita Smisek at the site posted but my computer software told me there was no such site. Anyone know what the actual title of the song is and where I can purchase it?
