This song is from a musical by Sonny Salisbury called ‘love came down’

I was looking for this again this year, and when I 'Googled' the phrase, "Come and see the Five Little Fingers of God," these replies from a few years ago came up! Thank you so much to all of those who replied!

His mother smiles down as He lies sleeping in the straw
While weather-beaten shepherds stare at Him with awe
While all around the sleepy cattle nod
Come and see the five little fingers of God

Poor Joseph's feeling bad 'cuz this is no place for his bride
A stable for a birthplace, there's no room inside
While high up in the rafters, feathered wings applaud
Come and see the five little fingers of God

These hands that formed the Universe, created you and me
Have now come down in human form so God's love man could see

How can it be this baby's come to rescue fallen man
And by His death, He'd give the world salvation's plan...
And rise up from the dead and make the grave a fraud
Come and see the five little fingers of God

Searching for an old cantata song about the baby Jesus

Hi!

I am searching for a song from a cantata my parents sang in church choir 40+ years ago. A recurring phrase in the song was,
"Come and see the five little fingers of God." I've had it suggested that the song was "Come Worship the King," but the phrase only occurs once in that song and does not have the words "come and" at the beginning of the phrase. Does anyone recall a cantata song from that time period containing the exact phrase, "Come and see the five little fingers of God"?

Thanks so much for any suggestions!
