The group "Truth" had a bridge (?) with some of these words in their song, "Jesus is Lord of the way I feel"
Praise the Lord, Hallelu
I don't care what the Devil's gonna do
The Word and Faith is my sword and shield
And Jesus is Lord of the way I feel
Then they may have repeated this "verse" once or twice.
Now comes the "bridge":
Though the fig tree may not blossom
And there be no grapes upon the vine
(Blanked memory--sorry!)
Though the flock should all be scattered,
And there be no cattle in the stall
(more forgotten lyrics)
And Jesus is Lord of the way I feel!
Then the group picked up some Caribbean style instruments and sang this again. Oh, what a concert! Truth performed at the Fort Leonard Wood, MO reception station during September or October 1978 and the theater or lecture hall or whatever it was called was packed! Then just about all of us were standing and rejoicing in the Lord!
