It is sung by the Hinsons sheet music with Words by James Rowe - from The Original Hinson's Album "High Voltage" song # 4. As far as the song goes, I remember it in an old hymnal my church used entitled "Songs We Sing". Verse 1) Once I bore a burden great, was weary and sad. But no more I bear its weight, I'm pardoned and glad. Love divine at last I know, no longer I'll stray. On without a stain I go, love took it away. Chorus: Love took it away, one wonderful day. Made me free and it lifted me in the Light to stay. Love took it away one wonderful day. Gone at last, my sinful past. Love took it away. (there is more but I can't remember it off the top of my head as I did this part, I have sang it many times, it has been for the past 45 years I knew of this song. I came online to look for it tonight, myself, it was running through my heart.
