If from Your order, now I should wander
Where would I go Lord, where would I go
I know that Babylon she would not want me
For too many things about Her now I know
I guess this world would take me back
But I'm glad I'm off that track
For I've had enough of sin and I love this peace within
So keep me Jesus here in Your order
For if I should leave You now where would I go
1. One day the Savior to me he whispered
Child I wan you out of Babylon
And here He led me, said now get ready
For I'm giving you a chance to travel on
2. I'm glad I heeded, found what I needed
For His great light Jesus let me see
I often ponder, am made to wonder
Why, oh why did He think so much of me
3. At first I worried, was so discouraged
Satan said the goal you'll never make
Then Jesus told me, His word would hold me
But the bitter with the sweet I too must take
4. Now I'm contented, for the Lord was in it
I have a peace I never had before
Now that I know Him, I want to show Him
That now at last my wandering days are o're
If from Your order, now I should wander
Where would I go Lord, where would I go
I know that Babylon she would not want me
For too many things about Her now I know
I guess this world would take me back
