Shall I Find Some Star?
1) When some time in heaven's glory
I am ever in God's care,
Will there be someone to meet me
That I won for Jesus here?
Chorus: Shall I find some star, I wonder,
In my crown in gloryland?
Or shall I be empty-handed
When before my God I stand?
2) Millions now in darkness dying,
Lost for all eternity-
Give me grace that I may bring them
Tidings of salvation free!
3) I will go- God's love compels me-
To a world in sin and need,
And for heaven rescue many
From the wayward lives they lead.
Here's a version of it found in a prayer letter recently written by a mission worker in South Asia. His parents used to sing it when visiting churches and nursing homes and his sister recently found a tape of them singing it.
