There was a time I started to give up
Started to throw in the towel
Then a friend told me of one who cares
And truly knows it all
Then Jesus came into my life
He open my blind eyes
And now in my life there's been a change
He rescued Me From Myself
I was searching high and low
For the answers I could not find
And then he filled me
Now my life is new
