OK. Found out it was: "Goin' Up Yonder".
Apparently Ruben Stoddard sang this on a recent album, but I'd prefer to hear the choir version.

While watching President Ford's funeral mass today, I recall the beautiful song sung at Hubert Humphrey's funeral years ago. It had the lyrics:
"Going up to see Jesus". It was a very gut-wrenching song sung by the Washington DC Tabernacle chior with the lead singer a young black girl.
Does anyone recall the song? Lyrics?
Thanks, and Happy New Year!
