WHEN HE RETURNS A SECOND TIME
Chorus
When He returns a second time,
He won’t have Calvary’s hill to climb,
There’ll be no crown of thorns upon his head;
He won’t be judged in Pilate’s hall,
He wont be mocked and scorned by all,
But He’ll be King, when He returns the second time.
Verse 1
As the crowds declared that day,
They watched how Jesus go away,
Two men appeared to them in robes of white;
They said “now friends don’t be dismayed,
For He is coming back some day,”
So be ready when he returns the second time.
Verse 2
As John saw him on the island,
There behold Him after a while,
When we move to that new city in the sky;
And with His arms stretched wide,
He’ll say my children “step inside,”
If you are ready when He appears a second time.
