All to often the song writer does not get due credit.
We appreciate the information. It is worth a lot and
it's never too late to give credit where credit is due

For what it's worth, long after the original post, Lee Russell did not write "Good Morning Lord" but sang it and included it on his album "On My Way to Heaven". The label on the record (the physical record, not the album jacket) credits "Casey—Towle". The Catalog of Copyright Entries (Third Series, Volume 9, Part 5B, Number 1, Unpublished Music, January—June 1955, page 507) shows "Good Morning Lord, words Tony James Casey, music Ernie William Towle, 15 Dec 55 EU420385.

Hi, I just purchased a cd that had Good Morning Lord by Lee Russell on it ——In fact, it was the only song on the cd so i’m Wondering if it was home made, I mean copied by someone. The album title was "On my way to Heaven" not or heaven---- sorry- a typo

I too am looking for the hymn "Good morning Lord" by lee Russell. I have found that it was on an album of his titled "on my way or heaven" but I can't find any place that has it.

To the best of my recollection, the lyrics for "In His Own Quiet Way" are as follows:
