I typed this on my phone quickly while in a doctor's appointment, so I misspelled a few words and a few grammar mistakes.

This is from my memory as my grandma sung it in the Primitive Baptist Church.

1) I see workers in the church and I see leaders over them,
I hear the choir in the choir stand singing all our favorite hymns;
I see committees everywhere raising funds to record highs,
But my hungry soul is crying, children where is the fire.

2) I've read about the saints of old as the looked to God and prayed, I read about Ole' Elijah as the Lord sent fire that day,
Oh, we need that kind of power, So what could the answer be?
My prayer each day shall be, dear Lord please send that fire in me.
