Help please!
When I was a little girl my Mama used to sing a song about a lost sheep. I know the chorus of the song and part of a verse. She has dementia now and can’t remember the words. I believe the song is called, Little Lost Sheep, but no one including Google can help.

1. I was walking through the valley, one cold afternoon. The sun is going down and I must get home soon…..that’s all I remember of the verse.
Chi. I’m just a Shepherd and I’m searching, searching for my little lost sheep. They have wondered down in the valley, that’s so deep. And the night time is coming on, and they’re out there all alone. Can you help me, help me find, my little lost sheep.
