here's another version. i had a hard time finding it
I'm Going To Heaven
They tell me of a city that's just beyond the sky
They say the population will never, never die
There we shall live forever upon the streets of gold
And in that land immortal we'll never more grow old
I'm going to heaven; I'm going there when I die
I'm going to heaven in the sweet, sweet by and by
So angels place my order for a mansion in the sky
And in that book up yonder just right my full name down
There will be no taxes, no rent we'll have to pay
This deed is for your mansion, we'll hear the angels say
No washing and no mending, no clothes that look thread bare
We'll have a snow white garment of righteousness to wear
There will be no sorrow, all tears are wiped away
The undertakers sing board will not be on display
And there will be no doctors with a pill case in his hand
For there will be no sickness within that happy land
We never shall be hungry with that happy cline
We'll eat the hidden manna, drink grape juice from the vine
We'll meet the old time pilgrims in fellowship and prayer
I'm homesick now for heaven and wish that I was there
We'll meet the old time pilgrims who trod the holy way
Some Nazarenes and Baptists, some Methodists they say
But first of all my brother your Saviour we'll see
O what a grand homecoming that glorious day will be
