You got it right.
On Ahead Is Gloryland is on the 1984 Singing Cookes album of the same name.
I couldn't find the lyrics or clues other than Ruby Moody may have penned it

I'm not certain, but I think this was on an album by the Cookes. I do not remember which project it was. This may not be the correct title.
