I first heard the song "Empty Hands" in 1970 in Timmins Ontario by a Toronto Gospel Quartet named (at the time) "The Churchmen." I still have the album. The name of the original singer is Eileen Hanks (Sesac) whose name is recorded on a website called Southern Gospel History. Nothing else about her on that site except one other song she sang. The words of the song are not shown, nor have I found them anywhere on the internet. The Churchmen later changed their name to "The King James Version," and they only have one of their songs on Youtube.

I wandered out in sorrow sin and shame

That's all I can remember now. I will let you know if I find the
Rest. Janis
