Help me this song is stuck in my head. At least the chorus.

I know this song exists. For some reason its hanging onto me. I know this chorus and I can hear the person singing it in my head. I remember a Lanny Wolfe trio concert in Louisville Ky. The gentleman I can remember his face. But that Chorus is haunting me.

Seems I spend my lifetime coming back
Saying Father please forgive me
For getting off the track
Sometimes I get weak
And for a moment I can't stand.


That is the chorus.
