This song has a very special meaning to me. Jesus forgives us of our sins, but we have to be able to forgive ourselves. We are so ashamed of things that we have done in the past, and we keep the memory of them in our hearts. We need to fully understand that we are forgiven of these sins. Sin is sin. There is no degree of sin. Jesus can and does cleanse us of sins in our past. We probably all have sins that we feel are so horrible, that we just can't seem to feel forgiven. We still keep them in our hearts and let them haunt us.
