May I suggest another song for your sister? Roger Bennett and Legacy 5 sang one called "Stay close to me". He had Leukemia and I think recorded it while in remission. I think I cry everytime I hear it. My Mother in Law just died of Leukemia and I told her about this song. The first time she tried to listen to it she cried and had to turn it off. I don't know if she ever listened to the whole thing but it really is a prayer when all other words fail. Thank God she was a christian and I know she is with the Lord, but I sure miss her!
My prayers are with you and your family as you travel "this journey of this great unknown" for you. It's not an easy road but if your sister is a christian, she will be healed! whether it is the way we want her to be or the way God wants. Here or heaven, one way or another there will be a healing!
If she is not a christian, don't be afraid to tell her about Jesus. A lot of times we worry about what they will say or if they will get mad at us for "pushing" our "religion" on them. Tell her! Tell her everyday!
Forgive me, it's just so fresh in my life right now. My mother in law gave her life to Christ 10 years ago, but I have other family who hasn't yet. I need to preach to myself I guess!
Prayers are going out for you and may the Lord wrap his loving arms around you and your family and your sister. Listen to "Stay close to me" legacy 5. great song.
