I have been retyping some songs for my pastor and he had this song similar but I thought I would share his version.
Verse: 1
Preachers and teachers make their appeal,
fighting as soldiers, on great battlefields,
when to their pleading, my poor heart did yield,
all I could say, there is something within.
Chorus:
Something within me, That holdeth the reins,
something within me, that vanishes the pain,
something within me, I cannot explain,
All that I know, there is something within.
Verse: 2
Have you that something, that burning desire.
Have you that something, that never doth tire.
Oh, if you have it, that heavenly fire.
Then let the world know, there's something within.
