Hymn used at a confirmation, "I was there to hear your first-born cry . . .
This hymn was sang at my son's confirmation in a Presbyterian church in the early 90s. It had several verses that all started with "I was there . . . " A very meaningful hymn, emotional. It is no longer in our hymnbooks. Can anyone help?
