I know you're tired from life's journey
And the nights have been long
And you're longing for that sunshine to shine on you
Well I have good news for you and I tell you in truth
That my God will always come through
He'll come through the darkness to bring you the light
He'll calm all our fears; He'll make everything alright
Just trust and believe Him for He loves you
And my God will always come through
Now if you're down in a valley and your heart's broken in
Your friends have all gone and your family's forsaken you
Just look up and take courage I have good news for you
And my God will always come through
I know you're tired from life's journey
And the nights have been long
And you're longing for that sunshine to shine on you
Well I have good news for you and I tell you in truth
