He can't cross the Blood

Post by Guest » Thu Jul 17, 2014 2:59 am

The chorus goes something like this:
No, he can't cross the bloodline,
My God has risen through the fire and through the flood,
O, Satan trembles at the sight of those crimson stains,
No, he can't cross the blood.

I need the song, and if possible, who sang it. Thanks!

He can't cross the Blood

Here's what I could dig up, it's called "The Bloodline" by Linda Young and Dave Allen.

1.
Take into your house a lamb without blemish
And the power will never depart;
You'll be safe from the tempter, he can do you no harm.
When the blood is applied to your heart.
Sins are lost in the sea of His mercy,
Washed away by the crimson flood;
The destroyer may pass at the midnight hour,
But he cannot cross the blood.

Chorus
No he cannot cross the bloodline,
God is present through fire and through flood,
Satan trembles at the sight of those crimson stains
'Cause he cannot cross the blood.

3.
If the trials you have seem endless
Just remember you're never alone
There is someone who knows all about it, my child
He is there when all others are gone.
Rest assured He won't leave or forsake you,
Be at peace, He's the dear Lamb of God.
There is power to sustain, When you whisper His name,
And the tempter turns back at the blood.

Another variation of the chorus goes:

No he cannot cross the bloodline,
Tho' he's present through fire or flood,
But he trembles at the sight of those crimson stains
'Cause he cannot cross the blood.

Hope this helps. God bless!
