Hello Everyone,
I am doing this presentation on Jesus' 7 I Am Sayings and I came across these words at the bottom of the paper. I would like to use them but I am not sure if they are the words of a hymn or a poem and there is no author listed. Its called The Word and it starts like this, The Word of God is Bread for me... does anyone know if its a hymn and if it is who wrote it? Thanks.

I'm guessing you might have been looking at something printed from this Web site...

The Word of God is Bread for me,
His Life the Light by which I see,
The Door through which I enter in,
To join the sheep inside the pen.
The Shepherd gave His life for me,
That I might resurrected be.
The Way, the Truth, the Life, the Vine,
Now I am his, and He is mine.
If this is the same as you saw there's no citation here either, but you may be able to reach out to the owner of the Web site via the Contact link to find out more about where she might have gotten it. Thanks!
