hi, I'm looking for the words of a beautiful hymn. the title is He is Coming it was written by Violet E King. the opening line reads, I have watched the tender halo
in the rosey tinted west.
he is coming
he is coming
I have watched the tender halo in the rosey tinted west at twilight when the evening shadows fall.
I have felt the sweet caresses of a presence all unseen and listening, I can hear my Master call.
O, I'm longing for His coming everyday, I 'm longing more; and I wonder why He tarries O so long, but I think each glorious morning and in every twilight gloom that He whispers: "Yes, I'm coming, coming soon."
This is such a beautiful song. My parents used to singing around the house. They are both in the glory with Him, but I know that He is coming soon and I long for Him.

Re: he is coming
It has been years since I heard this song. Seeing the sunset this evening in "the rosy tinted west", made me think of part of this song. My wife and I came up with a few phrases and thus caused a search for the song lyrics. Thank you for above lyrics!
Did this song have only one verse or were (was) there more?

Re: he is coming
I believe there is another verse. I'm not sure of the exact first phrase words-No more sadness (sorrow?), no more crying, no more pain(?) and no more dying. . . He will appear. That's all I can remember of that verse.
