This was my Father's favorite song and I've always wanted to learn the words. Pray that I one day will have the nerve to sing it in my devotion service.
This song give me inspiration and a joy of hope each time I sing and relfect of the wordings. Thanks for posting.
This song is beautiful. As a child growing up in an old country church, we sang this all the time. When I was little, I thought everyone was singing "Farther Along". So I sang it like that for a very long time.
Dude, it is Father Alone, not Father Along!!! I think so, dude!!!!
It says key of E its D isn't it, anyway I play it in F chord or whatever it sounds like it should sound, just go by the singers voices and wishes. Some likes it in C chord most likes it in the G chord
Its 4 am n i dont normally wake up at this time but i heard an echo of this in my dreams, i wanted to know what the lyric says n i found it. God bless whoever posted this song
It is farther along.... NOT father alone.... Although both are beautiful lyrics.
