Does anyone have the lyrics of this song?
Gentle Hands holding on to me
Gentile hands guiding me so carefully
Tho He leads me down thru paths
I don't always understand
I will have no fear for I'm in gentle hands

Anyone know the verses?

Hi Guest,

I think this is what you're looking for:

1.
I've had disappointments and so have you,
There've been times when times were bad;
But I am so glad for every moment that I've spent in His Hands
In His hands.

Chorus
In His hands there's only safety,
Nothing there can touch you except Him;
Bring your burdens and all your failures,
Lay them down and rest here
In His hands.

2.
I will have more problems and so will you,
But through every one we all can stand;
When we're in His hands so are the trials,
There is no cause for fear
When we're in His hands.

3.
Gentle hands holding on to me,
Gentle hands guiding me so carefully;
Though He leads me through paths I don't always understand,
I will have no fear, for I'm in His gentle hands.

God bless!
Steve

Thanks Steve, but this is not the one. I had them mixed up too. I think I thought of one of the verses this morning.

1.
Like a little child sometimes it's hard to see
Just which way I need to go and what is best for me
But I have a loving Father who always understands
And it's a consolation to know that I'm in gentle hands

I might have the first and second verse mixed up but the song title of the one you gave me was "In His Hands" and this one is called "Gentle Hands". But I appreciate your help, Thank you very much!

I can't remember the second verse, but the bridge is:

(male) In the darkness of the midnight,
It's so hard to see (female echo - It's so hard),
(male) But I don't have to worry,
For I know He's holding me (female - and guiding me).
Oh, Oh!

Course:
Gentle hands...

Gentle hands holding on to me
Gentle hands guiding me so carefully
Though they lead me down through paths
I don't always understand, I will never fear for I'm in gentle hands

Like a little child, sometimes it's hard to see
Just which way I need to go and what is best for me
But I have a loving Father, who always understands
And it's a consolation to know that I'm in gentle hands

Gentle hands holding on to me
Gentle hands guiding me so carefully
Though they lead me down through paths
I don't always understand, I will never fear for I'm in gentle hands

In the darkness of the midnight, it's so hard to see
But I don't have to worry when I know He's holding me
And guiding me

Gentle hands holding on to me
Gentle hands guiding me so carefully
Though they lead me down through paths
I don't always understand, I will never fear for I'm in gentle hands
I will never fear for I'm in gentle hands
You don't have to fear when you're in gentle hands

The song was recorded by Truth in the late 70s or very early 1980s. A recording may still be available on iTunes. I don't recall the name of the label that Truth recorded under at that time.
