i am looking for the song he'll keep you thru the fire, when it becomes a
furnace he'll keep you thru the waters when they become a flood.

That would be "He'll Keep You Through" by The Freemans, I think. I couldn't find the lyrics, but I did find an audio. I'll tell you what I could make out:

"If the passion for living seems gone, and the trials have taken your song; (?)

I thought it said " He didn't keep Noah from the floods that came..." I have the CD, I was just trying to get all the words wrote down...
