"I Can Feel the Tug"

Post by 1stepcloser » Tue Mar 02, 2010 7:18 pm

Does anyone know the lyrics for a song called "I Can Feel The Tug?" I've heard the Primitive quartet do it, but I cannot find the lyrics.

The chorus goes like...

THANK GOD FOR WHAT I FEEL INSIDE
I KNOW MY GOD IS REAL
I CAN FEEL HIS TUG FROM HEAVEN ABOVE
MY HUNGRY SOUL HE FILLS
HE GAVE HIS ONLY SON TO DIE
A RANSOM; O WHAT LOVE
I KNOW GOD HOLDS THE THREAD OF LIFE
FOR I CAN FEEL THE TUG

...I've been searching for this song for the longest!!! I'd love to have the lyrics so that I can perform it. It does not show up in Google.

Thank You so much!!! You can email me or drop a line on the MySpace page, www.myspace.com/1sc

ok, i know there's some words and even a whole line missing, but maybe someone will recognize it and fill in the missing words...if not, i can get them wed. nite at church if i can remember. this song was sung tonight there, but i forgot to get the words. i got the words from hearing this song on youtube, however, i couldnt make it all out. the guy singing it done a great job, but either got choked up or just forgot some of the words...some i just couldnt understand. hope this helps some. A little boy was gazing into the clouds above
I know my kite is still up there
For i can feel the tug
A smile then crossed his little face
The tug had made him ___
That's just the way the Spirit moves
Thank God for what I feel

Chorus

When life down here ___ ___
And i cross the Great Divide
I'll be free from all sorrows
When i've reached the other side
my treasures are up yonder
???????
I know God holds the thread of life
for i can feel the tug

A little boy stood gazing into the clouds above
I know my kite is still up there
For i can feel the tug
A smile then crossed his little face
The tug had made it real
That's just the way the Spirit works
Thank God for what I feel

THANK GOD FOR WHAT I FEEL INSIDE
I KNOW MY GOD IS REAL
I CAN FEEL HIS TUG FROM HEAVEN ABOVE
MY HUNGRY SOUL HE FILLS
HE GAVE HIS ONLY SON TO DIE
A RANSOM; O WHAT LOVE
I KNOW GOD HOLDS THE THREAD OF LIFE
FOR I CAN FEEL THE TUG

When life down here is finished
And i cross the Great Divide
I'll be free from all sorrows
When i reached the other side
my treasures are up yonder
in a land of perfect love
I know God holds the thread of life
for i can feel the tug

THANK GOD FOR WHAT I FEEL INSIDE
I KNOW MY GOD IS REAL
I CAN FEEL HIS TUG FROM HEAVEN ABOVE
MY HUNGRY SOUL HE FILLS
HE GAVE HIS ONLY SON TO DIE
A RANSOM; O WHAT LOVE
