An old song from the '60s - I Saw a Man

I am looking for the lyrics to a hymn that was popular when I came home on furlough (from the mission field) in 1960. It started out "Last night I dreamed an angel came..." Then the chorus went on to say "He said if I be lifted up I'll draw all men to me..." I can recall the melody without any problem, but not the words. I'm thinking the title of it was "I Saw a Man." Thanks for any help with this.

I Saw a Man (written by Johnny Cash)

1.
Last night I dreamed an angel came.
He took my hand, he called my name.
He bid me look the other way;
I saw a man, I heard him say

Chorus:
He said if I be lifted up
I'll draw all men to me.
He turned and then I saw
the nail-scarred hands
that bled for me.
I touched the hem of his garment that fell round him there
My life my heart I gave,
my soul was in his care.

2.
When I awoke my heart beat so and in the dark I saw a glow.
This was no dream he turned my way.
Again I heard my Saviour say,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

(Chorus)

The lyrics posted above are correct, but the song was written by Arthur Smith and originally recorded by Hank Snow.

An old song from the '60s - I Saw a Man

My parents sang this song when I was growing up. Momma's been gone for many years now, but Dad still sings it from time to time. Just wanted to share with you a 3rd verse that Momma wrote to it. Use it if you like.

O sinner turn to Jesus now
And make the pearly gates your goal
You'll have no fear no tear-dimmed eyes
And life will end in Paradise

I always liked to make the 3rd & 4th line say:

There'll be no fear or tear-dimmed eyes
And life will be in Paradise

In the song last night I dreamed in which they are calling it" I saw a man." I believe the third line says he bid me look the other way and I believe the word is he bade me look the other way.
I learned this song when I was a little girl when I used to go to the Evangelistic Temple when I was young.
