Before I Found the Lord

Post by majasmin » Mon Mar 26, 2012 12:33 pm

Hi everyone, do know the lyrics of the song before i found the lord? the chorus goes like this,

Now I've found happiness in Jesus all the time,
Just to know that he loves me so gives me peace of mind;
I never thought such joy could be
And then to think that it
Really could happen to me;
I've never really lived before I found the Lord.

Thanks everyone! God bless you :)

Intro:
I never really lived before I found the lord.

Verse 1:
I never felt like this before
I never know such peace before
I never had real peace before I found the lord.
I can’t explain just how I feel, but praise God I know it’s real
I never felt like this before I found the lord

Chorus:
Now I’ve got happiness in Jesus all the time
And just to know that he loves me so
Gives me peace of mind.
I never thought such joy could be
I didn’t think it could really happen to me I never really lived before I found the Lord.

Verse 2:
I can’t forget those wasted years
All the heartaches and the tears
All hope seemed gone before I found the lord
Then he turned my life around
Now my soul is heaven bound
All because one day I finally found the Lord.

Chorus

Repeat intro

This song is sung by Corinth Victory Voice Choir and you can find this uploaded by Kay Wren on Side 2.

I would also recommend The Chapel Choir on YouTube uploaded by Shapednotefan.

Not many other places you that you can find singing of old country church choirs. 9 years late but maybe you or someone else could use these lyrics. If you can find the video let me know and I’m not sure if this Namethathymn website works anymore but I guess we’ll see. Anyway have a good one! God Bless.
