I believe it was around the mid 50's.
It was also on an album called Back In The Good Ole Days
by The Masters Family.

I saw this song done by George Younce on one of the Gaithers Homecoming series but don't remember which one. It may have been the one that was the Cathedarels (not sure of the spelling) It was written by Bill Gaithers after hearing George testify. If I see it again I'll let you know for sure.
