Help Finding Chords to... What's That I Hear

Post by ipclayton » Sat Jan 10, 2009 2:53 pm

I really need the Chords. This is a beautiful song.

Men often dream of far away lands,
with strange sounding names
Oh but it seems that each time I dream,
It's much the same.

I spend my days in Much the same way,
I wait for that sound
Then my hand shall be raised, in one shout of praise,
Headed for higher ground.

CH>
Oh what's that I hear
It's the sound of a trumpet
I feel the touch
Of a much better place
And if I am dreaming
Oh please don't wake me
Soon the eastern skies will part and I'll see His face.

I have the lyrics to it. Just need chords to put with it.

Thanks, God Bless

What's That I Hear

Verse 1;
What's that I hear, is that the sound of a trumpet?
Soon the eastern skies will part, and I'll see His face.
Men often dream of far away lands, with strange sounding names.
Oh, but it seems each time I dream, it's much the same.
I see a place where I have never been befor.
It's white pearly gates and a Father who waits, just inside the door

Chorus;
What's that I hear, is that the sound of a trumpet?
I feel the touch of a much better place.
And if I'm dreaming, please don't wake me.
Soon the eastern skies will part, and I'll see His Face.

Verse 2:
Now this old world has a lost it's charm, it's no place for me.
It's that bright shining throne, in my new home, I long to see.
I spend my days in much the same way, I wait for the sound.
Then my hand will be raised, in one shout of praise.
Headed for higher ground.

Repeat Chorus Twice.
