Looking for words, not sure of the name.

The song talks about a mother who's children have all grown up and went on with there lives and left her all alone and all she wants to do is die and go on to be with the Lord, so she writes a letter to the Lord and then Her request comes true. It talks about how she was always there for her children and how she loved them no matter what they did.
This song is so very very sad, but so many times in life so true, we grow up , move on and forget those who loves us most.
Can anyone help me to figure this one out.
