Drinking from my Saucer

I've never made a fortune,
I guess its to late now
oh but I don't worry about that much
cause I'm happy anyhow
as I go along lifes journey,
I'm reaping better than I've sown
I'm drinking from my saucer cause my cup has overflown
ain't got alot of riches,
sometimes the goings rough
but I've got a friend in Jesus
and that makes me rich enough
I thank God for all his blessings
and the mercy he's bestowed

I've been through hard trials
sometimes my faith grew dim
but it seemed like one day
the sun shown through again
so Lord help me not to grumble
about the tough roads I have hoed

I won't ask for other blessings
cause I'm already blessed enough
