I heard a family sing this song but they don't know who wrote it or who sang it. They heard another family sing it and learned the song from them. I would like to know the correct title, composer or who the original singers were. I wish I could get the sheet music. Thank you.
The Day He Autographed My Heart With His Blood
On a less than perfect morning on hill called Calvary
Players took their places for a life changing scene
No beautiful red carpet just an angry crowd to see
Eyes filled with tears at the world premiere of the lonely Nazarene
On a perfect Sunday morning in a little white washed church
A simple country preacher man told me of salvations plan
No beautiful red carpet just a tear stained wooden bench
A willing heart a brand new start from the flow of Calvary's pen
The day He autographed my heart with His blood
The day He plunged my soul beneath Calvarys flood
With His nail scarred hands he signed it with love
The day He autographed my heart with His blood
The day He autographed my heart with His blood
What can wash away my sin, nothing but the blood of Jesus
What can make me whole again, nothing but the blood of Jesus
Oh precious is the flow that makes me white as snow
No other fount I know, nothing but the blood of Jesus.

The Day He Autographed My Heart With His Blood
The Perrys did it on their album Royal Descendant - long gone out of print
