Then Jesus left Heaven for me

This is the chorus:
Then Jesus left Heaven for me.
Left the comforts of Glory for me.
At Calvary He suffered misery untold.
He cared that much for my soul.

Any help with the verses would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Unworthy a sinner and far from the fold

With no one to comfort my poor dying soul
And nothing my sin to atone.

Chorus
Then Jesus left Heaven for me
Left the comforts of Glory for me
At Calvary He suffered misery untold
He cared that much for my soul.

Verse 2
His Spirit convicted and bade me believe
He saved me when upon Him I called
Now in Him I'm happy to His love I'll cling
Without Him I'm nothing at all.
