i know a song that has those same words, but i don't know if it is what you are looking for. the one i know is ... there's a land beyond the stars where no mortal man has trod a city that my eyes has never seen i more i think of leaving the more i want to go to that land beyond the stars... if this is the song i will post the rest of the song for you.. Thank You! Sherry. I don't think it is? But could you please send the lyrics anyway?I have been able to decipher a bit moreof this hymn.I know it is one of Sankey's collection. Where there is (.......)that is what is missing.

Yonder sun sets crimson far?-sounds like it ends with 's', maybe bars, but since we are 'beyond the stars' wouldn't the sun be 'far'?

These are the lryics to "Gloryland" as sung by Waterson-Carthy (and really, why would you sing it any other way? They sound, as Brit slang would have it, well-good!):

the words that you have to land beyond the stars is wrong the second verse isnt right , my grandfather wrote it
