Looking for this song, no idea the title, Our Pastor sang it as a boy, late 40's early 50's........Most of it is a scripture, seems vaguely familiar as a chours to a song.......

Thank you! These are not the exact work my Pastor gave me, they are close -but different. Loved this song as I listened to it.

The words he gave me are:
He lifted me out of the pit and from the miry clay
He set my feet on a rock, establishing my way
He put a song in my mouth, my God to glorify
And He'll take me someday to His home on high.

Not knowing the name, I have some old hymnals, but don't know where to Look......

Thanks for any help........I also need the music, altho if I listen to it enough, I may be able to play it.
