I think anyway this is how it sounds to me, of course Ronnie Hinson knows the words he wrote the song for his sister Yvonne who sings it beautifully.

Actually, I think it is Sometimes I must be a nail in His hands, sometimes a thorn on His brow. Why He should love me I just can't understand, oh but He's even blessing me now.

chorus is correct except it should be
...Sometimes less than serving, always undeserving...

But sometimes I change that part up and say ... sometimes I'm less than serving and I'm always undeserving...

But the truth is God gave the world that song through Ronnie Henson
It came from God he was just the
Instrument but he claims credit that he himself wrote it
But God is the one who wrote it lyrics and music
