Immortal Story

Hi Steve

I would love to find all the words and perhaps some more information about a hymn I learned at primary school in the 1970s. I've searched google and your site, but to no avail. These are some of the words I do remember:

"The immortal story is retold
Of the pageantry of old
Of the brave and bold and chivalrous
Their timeless deeds unfold

But still the tale of their sacrifice keeps burning steadily
....(words here I do not rmember)...

Fair land none shall congquer thee
Thou shall flourish proudly to eternity"

Hope you can help me. It has a beautiful tune and I often find myself humming it and wondering who wrote it and when.

Thank you

Sue
