And I Shall See Him Face to Face
This is not the tranditional "Face to Face with Christ my Saviour" that I look for. My search is for a song that begins:
"Some day the silver cord will break - and I no more....???" The chorus goes:
"And I shall see Him face to face, and tell the story saved by grace; Yes, I shall see Him face to face, and tell the story saved by grace."
It was written by Herbert Johnson (and I have a piano transcription arranged by Rob Roy Peery, but no words, /his piano arrangement is published by The Boston Music Co. in Boston Mass.)
I wanted to play this on September 7 for offertory, but I hoped to have the words showing on the screen.
Thank you for our help!

Thanks so much for replying - note that I was actually googling and discovered the song probably even as you were messaging me.! God bless you, too.
And I Shall See Him Face to Face
Some day the silver cord will break,
And I no more as now shall sing;
But oh, the joy when I shall wake
Within the palace of the King!
And I shall see him face to face,
And tell the story-saved by grace;
And I shall see him face to face,
And tell the story-saved by grace.
Some day my earthly house will fall,
I cannot tell how soon 'twill be;
But this I know-my All in All
Has now a place in heav'n for me.
Some day, when fades the golden sun
Beneath the rosy tinted west,
My blessed Lord will say, "Well done!"
And I shall enter into rest.
Some day: till then I'll watch and wait,
My lamp all trimmed and burning bright,
That when my Saviour ope's the gates,
My soul to him may take its flight.
And I no more as now shall sing;
But oh, the joy when I shall wake
Within the palace of the King!
And I shall see him face to face,
And tell the story-saved by grace;
And I shall see him face to face,
And tell the story-saved by grace.
Some day my earthly house will fall,
I cannot tell how soon 'twill be;
But this I know-my All in All

And I shall enter into rest.
Some day: till then I'll watch and wait,
My lamp all trimmed and burning bright,
That when my Saviour ope's the gates,
My soul to him may take its flight.
